ANZAC Poem's

Picture
For this part of the task, the students are to create four poems relating back to The ANZACS. Students have the option to create the four poems together as a  group, or each student within that group can make a poem each. The poem's can be about anything ANZAC related. They could be about the soldier's feeling and thoughts whilst they were at war, a poem about the meaning of The ANZACS or even a poem about Simpson and his Donkey.

Students are to once again present their poems during the digital story. Simpson is to make a second pit stop within his journey and this is when the students will present their poems. Each student within the group is to read one poem allowed. The Poems need to be at least 6 lines long.

Follow the links below to find two very well known poems that invoke the feelings of the ANZAZ Spirit.  Use these as examples to show the children, and also as a discussion topic.
